Defence Club
Defence club: Defence students are able to attend Defence club and bring along a friend. Currently Defence club runs most breaks and students can participate in a range of both structured and unstructured activities which may include craft, drawing, LEGO, games, dancing or reading. STEMgineers
STEMgineers is North Shore's very own STEM club. Each term, a wide variety of activities are provided for students from years 2 – 6 to inspire and develop students STEM skills and nurture their scientific curiosity through critical and creative thinking. Some of the activities on offer include:
- Minecraft Building Challenges
- North Shore Lego Master competition
- Makerspace
- Coding
- Electrical circuit designs
- Robotics and Drones
- Science experiments that complement the annual Science Week theme
First Lego League
Students in Years 5 and 6 can join our First Lego League Club to learn to build and program LEGO EV3 Robots. A main focus in our club is to work in teams to build and program EV3 Robots. At the end of each year we take 2 teams to participate in the "First LEGO League" competition where we compete against other local schools to program our robots to perform set tasks.
