At North Shore State School, students develop 21st century learning skills of Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration and Communication through the use of technology in the form of computers, iPads and robotics. Students interact with technology in many forms across the curriculum. Younger students engage with Bee Bots which are coded with simple commands. As student's progress through the school they engage with filming in the Green Room, Minecraft Education Edition, programming spheros and digital story production. Designing and creating are a major focus of the Technologies Curriculum and students may interact with components such as water-powered rockets, Micro:Bits, MakeyMakeys and Drones.
